Are you a dog lover looking for a fun and social event to enjoy with your furry friend this festive season? Look no further! Our 'even bigger festive walk' is happening this December, and you won't want to miss it.

Hosted by Dog & Jones to raise money for Kegworth Heritage Centre.

In the true spirit of Christmas, we would like to take the opportunity to give back to the community. The Kegworth Heritage Centre is a time capsule of Kegworth history, that has been enjoyed by many since it first opened in 1992.

The museum is a charitable organisation that is run by volunteers and funded by donations. We want to help "Keep The Lights On" at the Heritage Centre to ensure that the museum can remain open for future generations to learn about our villages rich history. 

While the 'Even Bigger Group Festive Dog Walk' is free to attend, we will be collecting donations on the day to help support the Heritage Centre. Anything you can give will be greatly appreciated!

What is the Even Bigger Group Festive Dog Walk?

The festive dog walk is a community event that brings together dog owners and their pets for a leisurely walk through the beautiful streets of Kegworth to the River Soar. Starting and ending at Dog & Jones, it's a great opportunity to meet other dog lovers, socialise your pup and enjoy some fresh air and exercise.

Event Details

The walk will take place on December 28th in Kegworth, Leicestershire. The meeting point is in our shop, Dog & Jones, in Kegworth market place. We will be setting off at around 10:30am and the walk will last around 50 minutes, ending again at Dog & Jones. Where each dog that has taken part will receive a FREE goodie bag, and all human (adult) walkers can enjoy a complimentary mulled wine to warm up!

Make sure to bring water for you and your dog, as well as poop bags to clean up after your dog. The walk will last approximately 50-60 minutes, depending on the pace of the group. 

Christmas jumpers & Santa hats strongly encouraged! With a prize for the best dressed dog and human on the day too.
